Weekend of teachings and meditation with Piotr Kalachyn

Our Diamond Way Buddhist Center is pleased to be hosting Piotr Kalachyn visiting from Poland for a weekend (September 19th-21st) of talks and meditation sessions. We start with a talk on Using our methods to remove disturbing emotions on Friday, Sep 19 at 7:30pm - this talk is the most suitable starting point, but feel free to show up later in the weekend!

There is a suggested donation of $15 per lecture to help cover Piotr's airfare.

About Piotr
Born 1966 in Russia, grew up in Belarus, then moved to Poland. Graduated from the Minsk Radio-Engineering Institute as a radio engineer and translator. Took Buddhist Refuge to Lama Ole in 1998 and became part of the first line-up of a new meditation group in Minsk. In 2005 Lama Ole asked Piotr to teach. Since 2008 Piotr has translated Lama Ole’s lectures into Russian in Russia, Belarus, and other Russian-speaking areas. In 2008 Piotr moved to Poland, where he helped run the retreat centre in Zagórzany. Since 2015 lives in Wrocław with his wife Eugenia and two kids. Works as a software engineer
